Marco's Coaching update
18th July 2025
- Marco will be away from 21st to 25th of July completing his BF Level 3 Coaching Qualification, and coaching the GB Pathway Squad the weekend before—congrats, Marco!
Training sessions on 23rd and 30th of July will be FREE Fencing only with Regular Tuesday sessions will resume after that.
This marks another big step in Marco’s coaching journey—he’s levelling up even after his Commonwealth Games success! He’ll return as a Level 3 Coach and a nominated GBR Pathway Coach. Watch this space for more.

We would like to inform you that Coach Marco will be unavailable for the next three weeks. He will be embarking on an exciting journey to the Commonwealth Championships with Indigo, where he will be coaching the talented GBR fencing team. We wish him, Indigo, and the rest of the GBR fencing team the best of luck at the Commonwealth Championships. We will be cheering you on!
Commonwealth adventure

Coach Marco Zaffino has been selected as a foil coach for the upcoming Commonwealth Championships, where he'll proudly guide England's Cadets and Juniors. This special opportunity allows him to mentor his daughter, Indigo, as they both prepare to exhibit their expertise and passion for fencing on the international stage. Their shared dedication to the sport and their country will undoubtedly make a lasting impact. Congratulations to Coach Marco on this fantastic opportunity.
