About us

Barnsley Fencing Club, a non-profit organisation situated in Penistone near Barnsley in South Yorkshire, specialises in Modern Olympic Fencing with a focus on Foil. We welcome members aged 8 and up to join our community. Under the expert guidance of our top coach, Marco Zaffino, our club has a proud history of success. Our members have achieved the titles of Yorkshire and British Champions, with some even having the honour of being selected to compete in the Commonwealth Championships.
